After this photo shoot I realised how much I enjoy collaborating with yoga teachers, instructors, practitioners, and I would love to do more shoots like this one. Besides, if you are really into yoga, there are lots of opportunities for doing yoga in Lisbon. So, in this post I’m gonna share some nice studios with lessons in English and Portuguese.
Yoga Studios in Lisbon
Hatha yoga studio with central location, and group and private lessons. The teachers are very attentive and pay attention to each student. That is to say, they provide real guidance and make sure your posture and positions are correct.
Traditional Ashtanga yoga in central Lisbon. It is located inside traditional Portuguese apartment. The space is beautifully decorated, creating a very unique and calm atmosphere during your practice. They have another location in Cascais.
Cosy yoga studio in Rato, near Principe Real. They specialise in Yoga-Sámkhya, that combines 14 technique disciplines of yoga in each class. The classes are always complemented with Pránáyáma and relaxing exercises.
This is a truly international space that welcomes travellers from all over the world. Their focus is on Hatha, Vinyasa, and Kundalini yoga and they regularly offer different events, workshops and retreats. So, if you are just travelling in the city, there is an option to have a single class just for €10.
Yoga studio with locations in Estoril and Lisbon. They have Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga yoga classes, and their teachers are amazing – challenging and inspiring! In addition, they provide a truly holistic experience – from yoga classes to personalised therapies, such as conscious healing, holistic health & life coaching, traditional Chinese medicine and even aura reading.
